Aerobic Gymnastics 

 

BTYC now offer Aerobic Gymnastics  classes to children between 6 and 18 years old. These classes are fast paced and help to develop girls strength, agility, flexibility, coordination and balance all in an exciting and social environment.

Aerobic Gymnastics is the perfect sport for active people with energy to burn. This exciting and creative sport  involves performing high intensity movement patterns of aerobic dance steps to music.

Aerobic Gymnastics is an action packed, dynamic sport that is fast paced and is great for developing heath and fitness.

2020 Aerobic Classes

Junior: level 2-4 (Ages 6-14)
– Friday 4:30-6:00pm @ Mullum Mullum stadium

In our junior program we will be teaching level 2-4 routines that are distributed by Gymnastics Australia. They are fun, energetic routines that teach the fundamental steps and skills in Aerobic Gymnastics. If you are looking to participate in a competitive gymnastics program without a high number of training hours, Aerobics will be perfect for you. Competitions are offered to everyone that signs up for the Aerobics program at BTYC.

 

Senior: level 5+ (Ages 15+)
– Tuesday 6:00-8:00pm
– Friday 4:30-6:00pm @ Mullum Mullum Stadium
– Sunday 9:00-11:00am

In our senior program gymnasts in level 5 will learn a routine distributed by Gymnastics Australia which provides a pathway into level 6+ where the gymnasts will learn their own unique routine. Along with learning a competitive routine we also cover strength, fitness, skills and flexibility in our classes.
